Georgetown Roofing, Inc. (GRI) was incorporated in Virginia in March 1979 and has operated continuously under that name since its inception. Starting as a small company, we have grown to a medium sized roofing firm. We are located in Hyattsville, MD in a 40,000 square foot facility that is also the home of our state of the art sheet metal fabrication subsidiary, Precision Architectural Metals, Inc. (PAM). PAM holds a patent for a unique and cost effective roofing perimeter detail.

GRI has installed roofs ranging in size from small residential repairs to the complete installation of 130,000 square foot metal and membrane roofing project at the National Foreign Affairs Training Center in Arlington , VA.

More than five hundred major roofing projects have been completed by GRI. We have earned the status of Carlisle “Centurion” for having installed 100 “Perfect 10” roofs that were inspected and warranted by Carlisle SynTec Systems. Our firm is licensed in Maryland , The District of Columbia, and holds a Virginia Class “A” contractor's license. We carry five million dollars of liability insurance and can provide payment and performance bonds.

GRI is a specialist in the installation of all types of steep roofing systems, including slate, metal and shingles, as well as in the installation of modern, flat single-ply membrane systems.
